good in black

And then there’s the biker look. Someone really needs to tell Jerolyn that maybe there’s a reason he looks so damn good in black. I don’t envy whoever’s the messenger bearing that little bit of news.

Ye gosh he’s cute, though. When I first won this outfit, I wasn’t sure if I would end up keeping the jacket or not — it seemed a little too much. But seeing Jer like this completely changed my mind.

uptight in white

The deluge of Jerolyn photos never ends!

He looks cute in white, but he just can’t pull off the same Heavenly feel that Justyn can. Justyn just has that easy-going personality, which makes Jer seem so uptight in comparison. Notice how the collar is fastened shut whereas Justyn leaves it open, and how the sash is modestly tied around the waist instead of flowing loose.

Maybe wings would have helped…

getting somewhere

Finally, Jer’s new eyes arrived!

Ever since I first laid eyes on him, I knew he was meant to have light blue eyes, and now he finally does. Unless I get some more expensive Antique Rose ones, these will be his default from now on. He’s certainly capable of a more icy stare!

This is a new outfit by Blue Ribbons, but you can’t see much of it here — the cross necklace was included, and it’s a surprising coincidence considering Jerolyn’s personality. Sometime soon I’ll take photos of the jacket and other things that came with this set.

the real

This is also part of the Kou outfit, a shirt which reminds me of the clothing style of the Matrix, in the “real world”. Maybe it’s just the shirt fabric. Anyway, this is the photo shoot that I used for the new layout, as you can see. I like my Jer casual, yes I do.

not a jedi yet

The auctions for Jerolyn’s head and body ended one right after the other, and I was surprised that his head ended for so relatively low a price (15,500 yen). I had fully expected it to go for at least twice that. Luckily for me, it didn’t, and there was also a really nifty outfit by Kou ending right after that… so I took a chance and won it at a very nice price as well. Wearing the hood up makes Jerolyn look a bit like a Jedi.

Extra bit of trivia: the last photo is the first (and only) doll photo I’ve ever posted where I used a tripod. I’m completely not used to that, hence the strange angle, and the immediate return to my normal hand-held methods.
