I wish I had a nice fuzzy sweater like this for myself. Long ago, almost two years ago now, I first ordered the original incarnation of V, and for her first outfit, I received this pretty ensemble from biscuitbear — handknit sweater, cute skirt with appliqued leaves, and a pair of cream tights. V usually doesn’t wear skirts, but this is just such a neat little outfit. She looks so nice and warm.

It’s been forever since I’ve taken photos of V, but it’s not for lack of trying. Justyn especially is super-easy to photograph, while I always have the worst time trying to capture V.
This is not a new outfit, unfortunately, but it is a new wig — a lovely carrot one from LeekeWorld. Sigh. She’s much prettier in life, but she just doesn’t want to cooperate with me.
I never realized that DDK offered outfits for sale on their website periodically; I suppose I should have figured they didn’t just rely on getting a couple thousand off a Yahoo!Japan auction once in a while. Anyway, for whatever the reason, I thought that actually owning one of their outfits would be way out of my league, until I found this set for relatively cheap on Yahoo!Japan. Less than 7,000 yen for a cute pair of jeans (complete with DDK’s “crown” symbol on the back pocket) and an adorable black leather corset. Love it.
These are not my usual “perfect” photos with pure white backgrounds. I was trying something a little different with the shadows. Successful? I don’t know. Editing for these pretty much consisted of resizing, instead of the usual color and contrast tweaking I do in Photoshop. Gives a more “real world” feel or something.
The other “dual angels” group, although saying that seems very strange to me. V just doesn’t seem like herself without her cat ears, and that poofy mohair wig… Neither of them have wings, either, for lack of space. Sometime in the future I am going to reshoot this with wings and a better wig for V.
They make a cute couple, although I’m not entirely clear on what their relationship is yet.
I’ve been in love with loveart’s style since the first time I saw their outfits on auction, but I never thought I’d be fortunate enough to own one. But then luck intervened and I managed to snag this gorgeous gown covered in white ribbon roses and complete with angel wings. Photos could never do it justice; it’s perfectly beautiful in person. Her silver jewelry is, of course, by Robin’s Egg.
