Clouds in the forecast, but there was enough sun to take some decent photos of Valyntine. Yay! I can tell you now that I’m absolutely in love with my choices. She’s so beautiful, I don’t think I could have done any better!

A combined update!
R-Jeans by Village Pine have come in, waiting for time to take decent photos of them. Added three new photos showing off Valyntine’s new angel wing tattoos, thanks to my boyfriend! You can sort of see the R-Jeans in those photos. Valyntine will probably live in them unless I buy her something new soon.
Whoo-hoo! Been planning this forever, but I finally finished customizing my Valyntine. She now has furry cat ears and tail, so her photos have been updated. Not too bad for a first try, right?
Still trying to figure things out. This was a cheap craft store shirt meant for an American Girl doll (or equivalent) so the fit wasn’t great and the color was terrible, but at least it was clothes.
Because everyone has to start somewhere. For me, this was in 2002 with an MSD Myu (and later an MSD Mika) that didn’t stay long, so we’ll count 2003 as the “true” start of my venture into this hobby.
Originally I planned on getting an F-09 (Leona/Licht mold) head, but the more I saw the F-13/Mimi mold, the more I knew I had to have it.
After seeing a gorgeous F-13 + SD13 combination at the Japanese site “needl waker” (now defunct), I absolutely fell in love and made my decision to order a Full Choice System SD. After waiting almost two months, I was terrified that I had blown far too much money on something I would hate. Yet when I opened her box while on Christmas vacation, it was instant infatuation. I was so happy!
