Little outfit test. I might mess with the ensemble a bit and do a full shoot later, but I wanted some softer shots of Dom to contrast with the darker/glam outfit V has on right now. I like that he can pull off gentle styles like this, too.
I’ve been taking a lot of photos of him lately because he makes me happy.
I feel like I have a better grasp on his character in his current incarnation than I did previously, which helps. To think, when I started rebuilding the crew in late 2014/early 2015, I had very resolutely decided not to get him, because he always seemed to cause such problems. I wasn’t able to resist very long, obviously, but I don’t regret it. Figuring out the Dom-Jer-V dynamic was a big “ah ha!” moment.
Finally, a new outfit + photos!
This wasn’t the ensemble I envisioned when I started the changing session, but I think it turned out to be interesting enough. I always like Vincynt in purple. The flower hairpin (borrowed from V by way of MiMi) matches this shirt, too, and helps soften his look a little.
I tend to accumulate things for Vince that don’t end up getting used for months and months (the shirt, for example, which I got in September 2018 and finally put on him for the first time), so I’m trying to push my boundaries with him beyond basics and plain black.

I’ve been slowly working on building a new website for archiving all of my doll photos, starting from 2003, and I’d forgotten that very early on, I sometimes had V in a white wig kind of like this one. This is a style of outfit I like for V, too, and the hairclips were originally bought with her in mind, so I guess this look is altogether kind of appropriate for MiMi. *^^*
Playing with Dom because I can and he makes me happy. Maybe I should swap his wig out for the braided one, though?
